How do you get rid of BedBugs?

Bed Bugs are a difficult pest to eradicate. When most people think of pests they think pesticides. However, most chemical pesticide treatments for bedbugs take months to be fully effective. EcoForce uses the most up to date, innovative bedbug heat extermination equipment to eradicate bed bugs quickly and effectively. Bed bugs cannot survive in temperatures above 120℉. We raise the internal temperature of a structure to 140℉-150℉ for several hours to allow heat to saturate every crack and crevice that a bed bug may be hiding.

Why don't chemicals work?

When a cockroach or ant (for example) walk through pesticides they groom their legs ingest the toxic chemicals and die, bedbugs do not. Why? Bed Bugs are a unique pest, they do not have a chewing mouth like most other pests so they can not lick or groom their legs. Bedbugs also have genes in there bodies that resist the pyrethroid based chemicals most pest control companies use. That means pesticides must be sprayed directly on a bedbug to be effective. Also, there is only a 40% efficacy on bed bug eggs allowing nymph bedbugs to hatch, walk through dried chemical, and still survive. Heat treatments heat up the ambient air which permeates into all bedbug hiding spots allowing direct contact on the bugs and eggs providing 100% efficacy.

Do I have to throw my furniture away?

No, at least not with heat treatments. Because bedbugs can get into the smallest hiding places many companies will require you the throw away personal belonging costing you hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Heat treatments allow you to keep your furnishings. Through our process, bedbug killing heat saturates every area of your home killing all life stages of bedbugs including: eggs, nymphs, and adults no matter where they are.

How long does the service take?

Most full structure heat treatments take between 4-6 hours depending on the level of infestation. We don't leave until every bug is dead.

Do I have to do tons of laundry?

No, We offer very simple prep. We DO NOT want you bagging up your clothes-to do endless loads of laundry.
